I am currently teaching English as a Foreign Language at ASBU as an assistant professor. I have been in this field since I was 19 years of age at different English language institutes. All these years, I have been teaching my students different courses ranging from elementary courses to advanced levels, including Cambridge Exams, IELTS, GMAT, GRE, and TOEFL. Upon the completion of the MA degree, I moved to a higher level of teaching English and started teaching different general subjects as well as some Writing, Methodology, Testing, and Research Methods courses at the university level. The ESP and EAP courses that I taught included but were not restricted to students of Engineering, Architecture, Management, Business Administration, and Law. After getting my Ph.D., the major courses that I taught at the MA level were Advanced Writing, Testing and Evaluation, Research Methods, and Seminar. I also served as the HOD of the ELT Department at Islamic Azad University, Roudehen Branch. I did my CELTA and finished my DELTA Module two in August 2015. I also attended a Training of Trainers (ToT) by British Council in 2013, Sabanci University, and a Training of Trainers by TESOL International. As the head of the Professional Development Unit, I started a Three-week program for ASBU, SSUA TAP, to help prep-school instructors familiarize themselves with the necessary skills to serve their testing offices. I am also a certified IELTS speaking examiner and a Trinity College CertTESOL trainer and course director. Lastly, I run some professional development workshops and courses as a freelancer for Oxford University Press and Pearson Education mostly on Assessment.
