Earning his BA degree from Middle East Technical University, the program of English Language Teaching in 2017, İlker Tek started working at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University (IZU) English Preparatory School as an instructor. He completed his MA in English Language Teaching at IZU in 2021. He also studied at the University of Granada and the University of Tartu within the scope of an exchange program during his undergraduate and graduate studies. He started working at Social Sciences University of Ankara, School of Foreign Languages as an instructor in 2022.
