Having completed her B.A.in Foreign Language Education Department at Boğaziçi University in 2006, Ebru Öztekin Bıyıklı started working at Özel Çakır Primary School. In 2008, she started working as a lecturer of English at Uludağ University School of Foreign Languages and completed her master's degree at Bilkent University MA TEFL program during 2010-2011 academic year. She has been working at School of Foreign Languages at Social Sciences University of Ankara since 2013. She received the DELTA module 2 certificate and focused on teaching academic English here.
