Dr. Nur Gedik Bal is an instructor at the Social Sciences University of Ankara. She has received her BA, MA, and Ph.D. in English Language Teaching (ELT) at Middle East Technical University (METU). She teaches general English courses for ASBU Preparatory Program students and Advanced Reading and Writing, Spoken English, and ELT Curriculum courses for METU undergraduate students. He also served as the curriculum coordinator at the School of Foreign Languages between 2017 and 2019. Her scholarly interests include the intercultural competence of language learners and teachers, teachers’ professional development, integrating technology into foreign language classrooms, and written corrective feedback. She has published in Journal of Language and Education, Journal of Language and Linguistic Studies, Journal of Language Teaching and Learning, and ELT Research Journal. She also worked as a reviewer for the Language Teaching Research, Journal of Education and Learning (EduLearn), and some other national and international journals.
