Assoc. Prof. Dr. Victoria Bilge Yılmaz
Biography
Victoria Bilge Yılmaz completed her undergraduate education in 2004 at Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Language Education. She received her Master’s degree in 2008 and her Ph.D. degree in 2016 from Middle East Technical University, Institute of Social Sciences, Philology. Victoria Bilge Yılmaz received the title of Associate Professor in 2021. She worked full-time at Atılım University, Muğla University and Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Universities and part-time at TED University. Victoria Bilge Yılmaz continues her work in Foreign Language Education, Assessment and Evaluation in Foreign Language Education (in institutional exams), Russian Literature, English Literature and Turkish Literature. Victoria Bilge Yılmaz has been the Coordinator of Curriculum and Assessment and Evaluation Unit, Director Assisstant of the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. She has also served as a member of the Executive Board, the Board, the Quality Board and different commissions in the School of Foreign Languages. She took part as an English-Russian-Turkish academic translator and project coordinator in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and in other institutions. She knows Russian, English, Kazakh, Karakalpak and other Turkic languages.
