Seçil Büyükbay İpekçi graduated from Gazi University - Department of English Language Teaching in 2003. She started to work as an Instructor at Gaziosmanpaşa University the same year. She received her master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at Bilkent University in 2007. In 2013, she started to work as a lecturer at Ankara Social Sciences University School of Foreign Languages. She is still working as an Instructor at the same school.
