I was born in Izmir in 1976. I left school in 1993 and started my BA in English Language and Literature at Ege University in the same year. In 1998, I was awarded a scholarship by the Turkish Ministry of Education for postgraduate studies at Leicester University, UK. I taught English at Hacettepe University from 2003 until 2017 and have been working as an English language instructor at Social Sciences University of Ankara since 2017. In addition to English, I am fluent in French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
