Biography

Immediately after her graduation from METU, Foreign Language Education Department in 1998, she started working at Başkent University, ELDBU. She was involved in teaching EAP, ESP  and Translation courses at freshman, sophomore and tertiary levels. In 2003, she completed her master degree at METU, Educational Sciences Department. Her specialisation is Curriculum Development and Instruction.  Besides teaching, she actively assumed responsonsibilities for Curriculum Development Unit and Test Development Unit for different departmental courses at Başkent University between 2000-2014. In September, 2014, she started her two-year journey at UTAA, FLD, during which she taught both Preparatory School students and freshman students. Since September 2016, she has been an English Language Instructor at Social Sciences University of Ankara, Vocational School of Foreign Languages. Coordinating the Curriculum Unit for the Preparatory School, she teaches English courses at different departments as well.  Her special interest areas are Curriculum development, EAP and ESP courses, translation and professional development..
