A language teacher, teacher trainer and educational researcher striving for making a positive difference in others' lives, Mohammad is thirsty for making teachers teach for innovation and improvement as well as transforming second language education. Academically, he is a holder of a BA degree in English Language and Literature and an MA in English Language Education from Syria. Currently, he is doing his PhD in Second Language Education at Anadolu University. He completed a 7-month graduate-level degree MicroMasters® Programme in Leading Educational Innovation and Improvement at the University of Michigan, USA, in 2020. Professionally, Mohammad has been teaching English for more than ten years, and he has been teaching English at the Social Sciences University of Ankara since 2018. He is currently Head of Professional Development Unit there. He is a certified Trinity College CerTESOL trainer, and he has lately had the opportunity to participate in U.S. Embassy RELO Training Opportunity Workshop Series on Language Testing and Assessment. He, also, has been a Volunteer Arabic Translator for the Cambridge Educational Research Journal. Mohammad has been conducting action research studies and has presented papers at international conferences, one of which was a paper on Transforming Online Language Education at the University of Calgary’s Online Conference on Teaching Additional Languages Online, where he had the opportunity to write a book chapter on online language teaching and learning. He has recently been a Virtual Visiting PhD Student at the University of Edinburgh, UK. In short, Mohammad is on a mission to improve and empower others' educational lives.
