Biography

Mohammad Musaab Wazzan is a seasoned language instructor, teacher educator, test-item writer, curriculum developer and voice-over artist with extensive experience in the education sector. He holds a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on TESOL from Aleppo University, complemented by a MicroMasters® in Education Development, Policy, and Innovation from the University of Michigan. He is now Lecturer of English & Head of Professional Development Unit at the Social Sciences University of Ankara.

ürkiye, Mohammad has recently been a Virtual PhD Visiting Student at the University of Edinburgh. He also has been awarded a Visiting Research Fellowship by the University of Surrey in the UK. 
As a PhD researcher in the field of Second Language Education, Mohammad explores the role of dialogue with digital technology in second language development. His research aims to deepen the understanding of how foreign language teachers and learners can engage with technology-mediated dialogic teaching and learning. He maintains a strong interest in teacher leadership, focusing on enhancing language educational practices through innovative approaches.

In addition to his classroom-based research, Mohammad actively contributes to teacher professional development programs and advises on foreign language policies for both K-12 and higher education settings, bringing research-informed insights to support effective pedagogy and curriculum design.
