Earning her BA degree from Middle East Technical University, the department of English Language Teaching, in 2009, Gülçin Akyol started working as a language instructor at Bilkent University, English Language Preparatory Program. She completed her MA in the department of Management in Education at Bilkent University as well as getting a certificate and a diploma in the field of teaching English (CELTA & DELTA) at the same university. She also worked as a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania in the 2014-2015 academic year through Fulbright scholarship (FLTA). She started working as a language instructor at Social Sciences University of Ankara, School of Foreign Languages, where she is still teaching English. At the same university, she is taking her M.A. courses in the field of English Language Teaching.
